1) Film Bleu Prototype 1

— Basic dialogue interaction is built in RPG Maker VX ACE.

— Tile set mapping is implemented.

— Interrogation mode where the player can interrogate the witness is implemented.

— Placeholder sprite sheets are created and imported.

— Placeholder audio is created and imported.

 

2) Film Bleu Prototype 2

— Interrogation mode is scrapped as it bears too much resemblance to turn based combat systems found in CRPGs.

— Cell phone system, where the player can keep track of clues, is implemented.

— Game resolution is increased.

 

3) Film Bleu Prototype 3

— Parallax mapping replaces tile set mapping.

— Weather effects are implemented.

 

4) Film Bleu Prototype 4

— Ported over to RPG Maker MV which offers multiplatform support.

— Game resolution is increased.

 

5) Film Bleu Demo

— Final sprite sheets are created for Red and some non-playable characters.

— Draft of final parallax background are created.

— Basic tutorial is implemented.

— Sample mystery is implemented.

— Game resolution is increased.

— Cell phone system is replaced by Pockets system.

 

6) Film Bleu Alpha

— Draft of final parallax background are created.

— Controller support is implemented.

— Game resolution is decreased.

— Some finalized audio is imported.

 

7) Dog Days v. 1.0.

— Main storyline is implemented.

— Monochromatic to colour transition is implemented.

— Final parallax background is created and imported.

— Final sprite sheets for all characters is created and imported.

— All final audio is imported.
