Airport Part-Timer is an educational Android application developed for EECS 4443 Mobile User Interfaces. The applications is a matching game that teaches players basic French vocabulary. The premise of the game is that the player is a part-time worker in an airport terminal that serves French customers. The player must attain a certain number of correct matches in a set amount of time to advance to the next round. New words are added after each successful round.
The game facilitates vocabulary retention in players by creating visual associations for the words. The lighthearted and whimsical artwork appeals to those who may be intimidated by learning a new language. The game features 3 difficulty levels which includes a variety of words.
